The residents of the Thurston County are excited to announce the inception of the Olympia Hindu temple and Cultural Center with the goal to create a sacred place and a vibrant hub for cultural events meditations, Vedic classes and Indian Classical dances in Olympia WA.

The Mithra Group is a nonprofit organization in Washington state recognized as a tax-exempt entity under 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. This is a community driven organization for people to come together to learn, celebrate and grow.

Our mission is to provide a place of worship for the community members in the Olympia area to practice the Hindu religion and Spiritual teachings from the great Rishis of India.

Our Vision is to build a temple in Thurston County that facilitates worship and services, to nurture and enrich the Hindu traditional values for all devotees.
